We prefer to use natural fibres and mulesing-free yarns.
We know the source of our materials, and that they support our aim of being a sustainable fashion manufacturer. We source from spinning mills that produce enough material for what is needed, but do not overproduce.
Among our yarns you can find cashmere, merino wool, linen, alpaca and mohair.
We are passionate about natural dyes. Natural dyes are created using botanical plants and herbs. They are unique in their colours. This old art is environmentally friendly and opens many avenues for experimentation.
The combination of these methods offers skin safe garments, that do not cause allergic reactions.

Becoming an ecological knitting company…
Maglieria GZ strives to be an energy efficient company.
We installed photovoltaic solar power panels that produce 85.100 kw/year, which support the entire knitting process to be energy efficient.
This system supports our production department, which is comprise of rectilinear flat knitting machines, which are certified 4.0. Our machines are connected to software that are user friendly, and meet European health and safety requirement. Our modern production equipment reduces energy consumption along with noise pollution.
These software systems control the production cycle and improve the quality of the product, reducing the production wastage. The wastage is reduced to the minimum and is given to partner factories that recycle and give birth to new products used in the textile industry.
